NERF REBELLE GLOBAL CAMPAIGN

Nerf Rebelle was a line of blasters, bows and Super Soakers designed specifically for girls. To bring this campaign to life, we followed our own brand promise of girl empowerment by giving teenage girls the opportunity to direct the international campaign.

Partnering with 14 and 15-year-old directors Lily Eliana Walsh and Claire Jantzen, and working closely with production company Adolescent Content, we developed a campaign that combined our creative vision with the perspectives of the very girls we wanted to inspire. Spanning film, television, digital and social media, the campaign didn't just communicate empowerment. It put it into action.

THE NERF REBELLE TV

While the long-form film built awareness and excitement across digital and social media, the Strongheart Bow and Secret Shot :30 TV spot focused on highlighting product features while maintaining the campaign's creative spirit and core message.

THE NERF REBELLE SUPER SOAKER TV

Directed by 14-year-old Lily Eliana Walsh, the Super Soaker commercials brought the campaign's girl empowerment message into a summer setting, combining the energy and confidence of the Rebelle brand with the playful spirit of the product.

THE SOCIAL CONTENT

The The campaign continued across Instagram and YouTube, extending the conversation beyond the commercials. Inspirational content and calls to action encouraged girls to engage with the brand, celebrate their individuality and make the campaign's message their own.

THE DIGITAL CONTENT: THE MAKING OF NERF REBELLE GIRL POWER

A behind-the-scenes film brought the campaign's promise full circle, featuring candid interviews with the young cast about what girl power meant to them. Alongside moments from the production, their personal perspectives revealed the human experiences behind the campaign, allowing the girls to define empowerment in their own words.
